KLPF 2008~~~

WEll.... I went to KLPF (Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival).. At 1st I was suppose to go with the photography society seniors... but end up I went myself cause I'm late a little bit and they might think I FFK them... (JUST LATE LITTLE BIT like 1 or 2 min!! REALLY!!!)


Well.. I'm not a Pro photographer that take lots of damn good picture but I do have interest in this and that's why I'm there at KLPF to see nice pictures that took by those PRO.... I mean PRO... Most of the photos there are really magnificent and take your breath away like .... "WOW... A cam can take that kind of beautiful picture"... After all... that's what KLPF about.... to show all the talented photographer with their masterpiece and so on.... Besides that, anything that is related to camera is sold there.... cameras(for sure... hehe), LENSES, tripod, light, accessories of cam, everything is just there for what it takes to get a nice picture.

Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Sony, Fujifilm were all there for your choices

FYI, products above are too costly for me to purchase therefore I just window shopping there to fullfill my camera fantasy... haiz.... too badla... I'm so broke for luxury goods....
When I went to Nikon booth... there are a few cameras with the damn big lenses that can zoom in and out and focus in various position... I think that 1 is really costly....

After visiting all the booth and have a lunch at KFC( cause just nearby oni), I was thinking about to go back home to have a nice sleep, but a announcement has stop me from doing that... MODEL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
"EH, got model picture to take wor... nothing to lose right if I stay here longer"... that's what I thought at that time... so I went back to the spot where all the photographer are waiting there with their big black SLR and snap for the models.... and I'm the only one who is having a Compact Digital Cam among the photographer crowd.... I guess... (so shame.. haha)
(Hawen start yet.. but really lots of ppl D)...

Then... 10 10 10 10... All the models were summoned out for catwalk at the stage and pose for the photographers.... Let's check out the models... well... I manage to take some pictures....

And there is a second round for them to promote the products of Fujifilm since this is a session that organize by Fujifilm... I think some of them are really HOT.... At the mean time.... the second round of the No.3 or 4 model.... My cam batt went down... (AIKS!!! forget to charge day b4!!!) so too bad... can't capture any pic anymore.... SAD CASE and....

After the session (1.30pm), again I tot I was going back home and sleep... but there is a workshop that will be held in that spot and I'm interested SO... I stay...
Finally, I get to know the speaker is BONNIE YAP
"Who's Bonnie YAP?... who the hell I know?" my thought that time....
Result after googlin': a lady photographer( she looks very tomboi-ish VERY) that has a media background in THE STAR paper and now working as a freelance photographer
What can she talk about? nothing much but her experience of freelancing and traveling and the photos that she took....
WOW~~~~ This is what I thought about once I saw her photos and it feels so reality and beautiful although is not photos bout scenery nor hot chicks and hot guys... it's about kids and old man... TRUST me... it's really nice to see..... there is some example below...

Besides that she also talk about her experience as a media lady and how to take a photo with a NOT ordinary way like usually ppl does... such as ... don't just focus at the center... move a side... something like thatla... can't really explain here... Let her photo talk....hehe... kinda benefit from her talk so far.... and she's a really casual person...if you were there u also notice that amber chia was there shouting her name( bonnie yap) from somewhere else like a SA PO... btw... I dun like Amber Chia.. don't know y... haha....

After her talk, I felt tired... really tired... therefore this time is my ultimate decision: GO BACK HOME AND SLEEP.... perhaps watch TV... hehe... yea... it's really a festival that opened my eyes through other eye ( camera) and pictures can really tell stories.....therefore, my will to become a photographer in the future is more stronger and firm.. haha... wish me luck luck luck~~~ that's all for KLFP 2008....
